Bottom Fishing & Lingcod Fishing Charters on Puget Sound

Prices

Bottom fishing in Puget Sound offers steady action, exciting variety, and a fun experience for anglers of every skill level. Depending on the season, our trips target flounder, sanddab, sole, greenling, and — when open — hard-fighting lingcod. You’ll also encounter several catch-and-release species that keep the action going all day.

·  while fishing in Puget Sound targeting “bottomfish,” be aware you might catch — or encounter — a very wide variety of species (flatfish, rockfish, cod-family, sculpins, greenlings, dogfish/ratfish, etc.), depending on depth and substrate.

·  Because of the variety and conservation concerns (especially with rockfish), many bottomfish are managed carefully under regional and federal rules.

·  Always check the latest regulations for species, catch limits, and protected species — especially rockfish — before fishing.

Whether you’re planning a family outing or an early-season lingcod mission, All Star Fishing Charters delivers a high-energy trip in calm, protected waters

This was our third fishing trip out with Captain Curtis and it was a blast. Not only catching salmon, but seeing orcas and dolphins. It’s one for the books for sure!

My son and I had the perfect fishing trip! Nick Kester is an incredible Captain and guide. It was my son’s first fishing experience, and Captain Nick was patient, knowledgeable, interesting, diligent, and totally pro. Everyone on board caught lots of fish, including my son’s epic first, and we brought Coho Salmon for dinner. It was great conditions on Puget Sound, enjoyable, and comfortable on Captain Nick’s 28 foot Duckworth. Unforgettable and totally worth it! Harbor seals are bonus. Highest recommendation

Captain Nick Kester is a seasoned veteran on the waters. We went out for 4 hours and non stop pulled in salmon. He was extremely attentive and helpful and definitely improved my skill with his advice. I caught one of the largest salmon of my career and by far the largest I’ve caught on the puget sound. If your looking for a good time guided by a captain with 25 years of experience go with Nick Kester.

7th straight year on captain Nick Kester’s boat and never once been disappointed. Always attentive, friendly, and the main priority is making sure his customers go home with fish! He pulls out all the stops and doesn’t rest until everyone is satisfied. Could not recommend all star fishing enough and especially being on Nick’s boat. Trips out there with him is something I look forward to every summer!
